The Steelers signed free agent linebacker Jayrone Elliott yesterday. He appeared in 38 games over three seasons with the Packers and had stints with the Cowboys and Saints the last two years. Pittsburgh waived injured defensive end Lavon Hooks, who tore his Achilles tendon in camp.
The Steelers will take a 2-and-0 preseason record into a Sunday night clash with the Titans in Nashville, with the game airing on WDAD, AM 1450 and FM 100.3. pregame begins at 6 PM.
