A man is in the Indiana County Jail after state police say he threatened a woman and shot up a pickup truck at a home in Armstrong Township last week.
25-year-old Jacob Harris, who is listed in the state police report as being from Shelocta but in his court docket as being from Blairsville, was taken into custody last Thursday afternoon after he allegedly fired a shot into the air and then told the 46-year-old woman, “I’m going to kill you next.” Police say Harris then fired six or seven rounds into his pickup truck, which was parked at the home along Laurel Road.
Harris is charged with four misdemeanor offenses: terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before District Judge Jennifer Rega, who set bond at $25,000. A preliminary hearing originally scheduled for yesterday was continued until next Wednesday.
