Former All-State Central Catholic safety John Petrishen is leaving Penn State for Pitt. He has had total reconstructive shoulder surgery, his third procedure in four years. He will sit out this season and will have two years of eligibility remaining as a grad transfer.
Two Panthers safeties, Jazzee Stocker and Damar Hamlin, are seniors, giving Petrishen an opportunity to play in 2020.
