it was a narrow eight-stroke win for Indiana High yesterday in their girls’ golf WPIAL Section Three opener against Norwin.
Indiana shot a collective 191 to the Knights’ 199 on the front nine of the Victory Hill Golf Course in Elizabeth. The Indians’ Quinn Martineau co-medaled with a 45. Sydney Brice shot a 46, Hannah Reilly and Sara Kane both shot 48, and Jenny Todd 54.
Indiana is 2-and-0 and will play next Monday at Hollidaysburg.
