Pitcher Domingo Robles won his first game since June 27th for Altoona last night as the Curve knocked of Hartford, 8-2. Robles tied a career-high with nine strikeouts in seven innings. He gave up only one run, on an RBI infield single in the seventh. Catcher Jason Delay hit two home runs and drove in five and Oneil Cruz had three hits for the Curve.
Altoona moves on to Maryland to play Bowie starting tonight before returning Monday for their final four home games of the regular season, against Akron.
