The Indiana School Board held a special meeting last night to take care of a few things before the start of the school year later this week.
On the agenda was a resolution from ICTC that would authorize their joint operating committee to enter into appropriate ground and/or sub-leases of portions of the ICTC site. Superintendent Michael Vukovich said that this will actually make things quicker and more efficient for the ICTC.
The board also approved three resignations, two of them para-educators and one a school nurse. The board did fill one of the para-educator positions immediately with the employment of Emgan Apjok. The board also approved the administration to create a full-time language certified instructor who has dual certification for the 2019-2020 school year, and authorized the administration to post and/or advertise for the position.
