Expect a daily increase in activities around the IUP campus as the university prepares for the start of a new academic year.
Over the weekend, about 200 students in the College Undergraduate Success Program moved in, and about 80 international students are expected to arrive today.
More students are scheduled to arrive on Thursday and through the weekend. The students and their families are directed to a staging area in the Miller Stadium parking lot and will be released from there to the appropriate building, and there’s an army of helpers to make the process go smoothly. Roughly 200 volunteers and 100 resident assistants, graduate, and professional residence hall staff members will be on hand.
Classes at IUP start a week from today.
