The White Township supervisors got an update on some ongoing issues in Chevy Chase.
Milt Lady, White Township Manager said that they purchased some property in the area of Chevy Chase that had two mobile homes that had fallen into a state of disrepair. Lady said that they were able to remove those mobile homes, and they’re getting ready to use that ground for flood mitigation purposes.
In other business, the supervisors got an update on their Green Light Go project at the intersection of Warren Road, Indian Springs Road and Ben Frankin. Lady said that they are obtaining the necessary documents from the project’s contractor. Once those are received, the township will issue the notice to proceed for the project, which could come in a few days.
