The Angels avoided a sweep with a 7-4 win over the Pirates yesterday. Albert PuJols drove in four runs as Buccos starter Chris Archer’s record dropped to 3 and 9. He gave up three runs and struck out ten batters over five innings.
The Pirates are off today and return home to host the Cubs beginning Friday night.
