Edna Catherine Westover, 80, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Good Frank, she was born May 21, 1939, in Indiana.
Mrs. Westover had been employed at Bruno’s and Ninth Street Deli. She attended Hilltop Baptist Church. Mrs. Westover enjoyed working security with her husband for numerous events held in Indiana County. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing, but her home was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Westover, of Indiana; three children: Charles Findley and wife Judith, of Indiana; Shirley Long and husband Scott, of Altoona; Thomas E. Ray, of Johnstown; five step children: Wanetta Putt, Diana Umbrell, Wilma Black, Sharon Burkett, Billy Jo Mohn; a brother, Eddie Frank and wife Dorothy, of Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; 29 step great grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; her dog Marty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Tina Marie Ray and Vicki Lynn Ray.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
