Two companies of the Indiana Fire Association were called out for what turned out to be smoke inside a structure last night on Church Street in Indiana Borough.
The call went out at 11:14 PM last night for a home at 1335 Church Street. Indiana Fire Association companies 4 and 1, along with Citizens’ Ambulance and the borough police were on scene. Ron Moreau of the Indiana Fire Association said the cause of the call was a shirt left over the lampshade when the light bulb heated the shirt to the smoking point.
No large scale damage or injuries were reported and crews were back in the station after 20 minutes.
