State police have announced that there will be a police presence at the Homer-Center Junior-Senior high complex for a training exercise.
The training exercise will be led by the State Police Special Emergency Response Team and will involve various topics regarding school safety and security, including instruction from the State Police Hazardous Device and Explosives Section. Participants will include school security officers from across the county, along with various members from state police stations in the Troop A coverage area.
People tomorrow may notice a large state police presence at the school tomorrow, and there will be limited and restricted access to the school grounds tomorrow between 9-3.
