Ellen M. Jobe, 88, of Marion Center, PA, died on Friday, July 19, 2019 at AristaCare @ Hillsdale Park in Hillsdale, PA.
She was born on December 17, 1930 in Rairigh Hollow, Grant Township, Indiana Co., PA.
Ellen had attended the Montgomery Church of the Brethren.
She married Harold E. “Bones” Jobe on June 10, 1962 and they shared fifty-five and a half years of marriage until his death on Feb 2, 2018.
Ellen was a housewife, who helped with farming. She had also worked as a store clerk for Hills of Home.
She wrote a book entitled “Don’t Cry Help Because No One’s There,” which was a Native American themed story. Ellen had enjoyed spending time with her horses.
Ellen is survived by her half-sister: Alice June Hill of Texas and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the 1:30 p.m. funeral service at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Pastor John Traxler will officiate. Interment will be at the Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA.
