Down in the minors, the Altoona Curve took one on the chin with a loss to the Bowie Baysox 11-3. The curve had built up an early 3-1 lead over Bowie, but a seven run fifth inning and a three-run sixth for the Baysox sealed the deal. The two teams play again today.
