These are tough times for the Pirates these days. They suffered their fourth straight loss last night being blanked by the Cardinals, 7-0, which dropped them into a last place tie with the Reds.
Bryan Reynolds was the only highlight going 3 for 4. In addition, outfielder Gregory Polanco left his rehab appearance at AAA Indy with shoulder tightness in his throwing arm. He has been out since June 16th.
Game two with the Cardinals tonight will have Dario Agrazal on the mound.
