Indiana Fire Association members were called out early this morning for a call involving a burned out washing machine on Church Street.
The fire department along with local police, citizens ambulance and team 900 were called to 335 church street at 4:57 this morning for a possible structure fire. As it turned out, it was nothing more than a washing machine malfunction on the first floor of the detached apartment. Damage was limited to only the washer, and the property owners were notified that the washer’s motor had burned out.
Fire crews were back at the station less than an hour after the call went out.
