Indiana County’s firefighters had a busy Saturday, answering numerous calls for a variety of incidents:
- Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were both called into Westmoreland County for vehicle fires along Route 22, Blairsville getting the first summons at 4:12 PM and Black Lick being dispatched a half-hour later.
- Marion Center firefighters responded to a motorcycle accident on Route 119 North in Rayne Township at 5:35 PM and later set up a helicopter landing zone. There is no police report available yet on the crash.
- At 6:31 PM, Marion Center was again activated, this time for a tree down across Richmond Road in East Mahoning Township.
- Early this morning, Blairsville firefighters were summoned for an odor investigation on East Market Street.
