The Jimmy Stewart Museum Foundation has announced a new museum president.
The Museum’s foundation announced during the annual meeting of the board of Directors on Tuesday that the new president is Janie McKirgan. McKirgan was recently a fundraising chairperson for the United Way of Indiana County, and is involved in many different groups and organizations in the area, including Alice Paul House and Downtown Indiana, Inc. She was a member of the first Jimmy Stewart Board of Directors from 1995-1998. During her previous time on the board, she helped organize three Harvey award dinners and several weekend celebrations
Her first day will be august 5th.
