Two players who helped anchor Ligonier Valley’s interior line have made verbal commitments to continue their football careers at Division I schools.
Christian Jablonski (pictured on right) committed to Lehigh University and Michael Petrof (pictured on left) decided to attend the United States Naval Academy.
On Twitter, Petrof said, “Blessed to say that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the United States Naval Academy. Thank you to all my coaches, friends and especially my family.”
Lehigh competes at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision level as a member of the Patriot League. Navy is also part of the Patriot League but competes in the American Athletic Conference.
Petrof made his choice from among 24 Division I schools which made him offers. Jablonski made his pick from among eight Division I offers.
