Searchers yesterday found a car that had been feared lost in Loyalhanna Creek during a heavy rain on Friday.
The vehicle was found submerged last evening. No one had been in it and no one was reported injured. Water rescuers from the Saltsburg and Tunnelton fire companies and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers were dispatched to Boat Dock Road in Loyalhanna Township on Friday shortly after 8:30 PM. They searched until around midnight, and then returned yesterday morning.
