Two Indiana borough police officers were able to go above and beyond their normal duties to make sure some animals were safe.
According to a Facebook post from Indiana Borough, police officers Leroy Anderson and Andrew Perry assisted some residents in the third ward in rescuing some ducklings from a storm drain in the 100 block of South 15th Street. At the end of the day, the ducklings were released and able to rejoin their family that was going through the neighborhood.
