Today is Flag Day and there will be a local celebration today on the steps of the Indiana County Courthouse.
That celebration gets underway today at noon, and will be hosted by both the County Commissioners and the Indiana Elks Lodge. Bob King with the Elks talks about why they wanted to hold the ceremony at noon.

Indiana County Commissioners Chairman Mike Baker said that not only will the ceremony be held at the courthouse, but a portion of Philadelphia Street will be closed as well.

The ceremonies are open to the public. And just as a reminder, all offices at the Indiana County Courthouse are closed for the day today.
