Dolores A. Marsinko, age 86 of Indiana, died Wednesday, June
12, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh,
She was born in 1933 in Nanty Glo to Corido and Elizabeth Rose
Dongilli.
Dolores was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman
Catholic Church, Indiana. She was an active member and
co-founder of the Indiana Players in the late 1960’s and early
1970’s.
She worked as an LPN in private duty for many years. She was
also employed by the Indiana County Assistance Office as a
caseworker for 20 years.
Dolores was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother. She
enjoyed cooking and delivering food to everyone and anyone.
She loved shopping and the art of the deal.
She is survived by one son and one daughter, Leonard A.
Marsinko, Indiana; Beth Hirtz and husband Robert, Uniontown;
three grandchildren – Jeremy Hirtz and wife Molly, Houston,
TX; Samuel Hirtz and wife Tasha, Bruceton Mills, WV;
Alexandra Bittner and husband Travis, West Newton; eight great
grandchildren – Hailey, Mirey, Jacey, Braiden, Landen, Brooks,
Bailee and Everley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother
Thomas Dongilli.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass
will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of
Clairvaux R. C. Church. Entombment will be made in the St.
Bernard Mausoleum.
