The White Township Supervisors last night heard from a group from the White’s Woods development about water runoff.
Water is running off into some of the yards in the development as the development has grown over the years. The main concern is that with the heavier rainfalls that have been seen over the past few years, people on the lower end of the development are seeing flooding. Many of the property owners were present at the meeting to see what could be done, but Township Manager Milt Lady said that while the borough can advise, they can’t get involved.

In other business, the supervisors discussed the bid opening results for the Fulton Run Sanitary Sewage Project. The lowest bid for the project came in from Bison Construction at $602,000, but the township only has $300,000 in grants for the project. Feeling that if they delay, they might lose the grant funding, the township supervisors approved sending word to the County Commissioners to approve the low bid of Bison Construction for the project.
