Pirates relievers gave up all the run in a 13-7 loss to Braves in Atlanta on Monday night. It was the Pirates’ fourth straight loss.
Pirates starter Joe Musgrove made a first-inning exit after a bench-clearing incident brought on by grazing Josh Donaldson’s jersey with his 18th pitch of the inning. Words were exchanged and Musgrove was ejected. Relievers went on to give up 13 runs through the next eight innings.
Starling Marte homered twice and drove in four runs.

In other Buccos news, pitcher Jordan Lyles has been placed on the 10 day IL, with left hamstring tightness and the Pirates have signed their first-round draft choice, right handed pitcher Quinn Priester. Priester agreed to a $3,400,000 bonus.
