The Curve’s Pedro Vasquez enjoyed another brilliant outing Sunday, giving up just one hit in six shutout innings and leading Altoona to a 4-2 win over Akron.
Vasquez, 5-1, struck out eight batters and did not allow a walk.
The Curve is off today and will open a series at home with Portland on Tuesday.
