Friday’s Criminal Call sheet in Indiana County Court contained more than four dozen cases up for review, and numerous defendants decided to plead their cases and be sentenced.
President Judge William Martin accepted a guilty plea to possession of both a small amount of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia by 20-year-old Gino Dollison of Indiana, whom he then sentenced to one year probation plus a fine.
Judge Martin also handed down sentences of one year probation to 34-year-old Zachary Detal of Indiana, 27-year-old Jordan Thiel of Robinson, and 38-year-old Danielle Denison of McIntyre, all for misdemeanor possession. 35-year-old Justin Spiaggi of Indiana was given a year probation for making false reports; 29-year-old Shawn Liptak of Jonstown was given three months of probation for possession of paraphernalia.
Judge Thomas Bianco sentenced 29-year-old Kayla James of Homer City, 33-year-old Loryn Kinzey of Bellefonte, 22-year-old Tianna Deyarmin of Indiana, and 34-year-old Michael Steffish of McIntyre to one year probation for possession of either marijuana, a controlled substance, or drug paraphernalia.
Judge Bianco also sentenced 53-year-old Walter Bowser of Smicksburg to a year on probation plus fines and restitution for theft of services; 54-year-old David Bell of Indiana to one year probation for receiving stolen property; and 34-year-old Janay Stewart of Aliquippa to one year probation for harassment.
Judge Michael Clark sentenced 35-year-old Randy Normand of Indiana to one year probation for possession; 27-year-old Courtland Beach of Clymer to two years probation for receiving stolen property; and 26-year-old Lisha Shearer of Oak Ridge, Armstrong County to two years of probation for making false reports. 22-year-old Korey Fey of East McKeesport was given one year on probation for giving a false ID to law enforcement.
