Indiana-based S&T Bank and Achieva, a service organization working with disabled individuals and their families, have been awarded the The United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania United in Service Volunteer Award for their combined efforts demonstrating “excellence in volunteerism within (a) local community.”
The award presented by the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania was for S&T and Achieva’s work on the Westmoreland-Fayette Boy Scout Council’s Camp Twin Echo in New Florence during the United Way’s “Day of Caring” last September.
S&T was also saluted for adding five new team members to the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Women Leadership Council. S&T’s Pam Price, Mary Anne Dornetto, Trudie Kozar, Robin Gray, and Susie Nicholson joined the team last year.
The United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania serves Allegheny, Butler, Westmoreland, Fayette, and southern Armstrong counties.
