State police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in two Walmart theft investigations.
One of the cases is from May 31st at 4:20 AM at the White Township Walmart. The suspect attempted to steal $3,649 in various electronic items – including computers, routers, a camera and a soundbar – but was interrupted by a Walmart employee outside the store before he was able to get the merchandise into his vehicle. Police say that after he left the Indiana store, he drove to the Burrell Township Walmart, arriving at about 5:24 AM to try another theft, which again was thwarted by a Walmart employee.
The suspect is white, apparently in his mid-thirties, and was wearing blue jeans and a blue plaid shirt. He has short dirty-blonde hair and was driving an older model Kia Sportage with a bad driver’s side taillight.
The second investigation is into an attempted theft at the White Township Walmart this past Monday night. At about 9:20 PM, a man stole a television valued at $218.
The suspect is a white man in his twenties or early thirties. He has close-cropped hair, and he was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with orange drawstring and trim, and indistinguishable lettering on the front.
Police ask anyone with information on either incident to call them at 357-1960.
