GREEN TOWNSHIP
State police say a Northern Cambria woman was injured yesterday morning in an accident on Zenith Road in Green Township.
A Mercedes Benz SUV operated by 48-year-old Theresa Deoskey left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Deoskey suffered some minor cuts but refused treatment.
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
No one was injured in a collision yesterday morning on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township. Police say a Mack truck driven by 27-year-old Jacob Rose of Derry was on the eastbound berm, backing up, when the front end of the truck abruptly entered the highway and struck a car driven by 76-year-old Louis Scansaroli of Blairsville.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
A 17-year-old Indiana girl was injured last Saturday evening in a crash on Ben Franklin Road near Mary Ann Hill in White Township. State police say the girl lost control of her car and crossed over the opposite lane, hitting a mailbox. It then crossed back over the road and ran head-on into a utility pole.
The girl has not been publicly identified due to her age. She was taken by Citizens Ambulance to the Forbes Regional Medical Center in Monroeville with unspecified injuries.
