State police say a Clymer man borrowed a pressure washer from another man last month and instead of returning it, he sold it to an Indiana pawn shop. The 36-year-old suspect is not publicly identified. The victim is George McCarthy III. The Honda pressure washer was sold to Piraino Mohney’s Used Sales.
A Clune woman is charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing about $175 worth of merchandise from the White Township Walmart store last evening. State police say 28-year-old Shawntelle Marie Yarnal under-rang the items at the self-checkout area. Walmart personnel gave police a description of Yarnal’s vehicle and she was later arrested.
A 63-year-old Rayne Township woman is the victim of a Pay Pal credit fraud incident. The victim reported that someone had accessed her information to open the account. Police say fourteen purchases totaling more than $354 were made from multiple merchants between March 20th and April 28th.
A bag containing medications was stolen from a Heilwood woman. Police say she reported it Saturday. The zippered bag is black with a pink floral design. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 357-1960.
