Barbara J. (Walker) Miller, 81, of Indiana, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, surrounded by her loving family after a long journey with Parkinson’s Disease.
A daughter of the late Kenneth and Elvina (Biondi) Walker, she was born in Clearfield, PA.
Barbara was raised and educated in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School. She was a tremendously proud and loving wife, mother and homemaker. Barbara was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Judith and Paul Harris, in-laws Earl and Winifred Baughman, and brother-in-law James Baughman.
Survived by her loving family – husband Richard E. Miller of Indiana, PA; children – Brenda S. Miller (Steven Tunink) of Indiana, PA, Bonnie J. Dunn (Robert), of Pittsford, NY, Richard K. Miller (Sandra Frank) of Southpointe, PA; three grandsons – Robert R. Dunn (Jen), Patrick J. Dunn (Katie), and Logan Blackwood Miller; great grandchildren – Avery and Samuel Dunn; sisters; Mary Wighaman (Carl) and Connie Young (Rev. Thomas); and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and “furry granddogs.”
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday June 3 at Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana, PA, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 AM. Private burial will take place at Crown Crest Memorial Park Cemetery, Clearfield, PA.
