State police have charged an Indiana County teen with hitting an officer at the Indiana County Courthouse.
Police say on May 28th around 9:00 in the morning, the 17-year-old hit a 31-year-old state trooper with a closed fist just outside the courtroom of a common pleas judge. Police say the attack was unprovoked. The teen was taken into custody and charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
The teen’s name was not released.
