Indiana Borough Police were summoned yesterday afternoon to the Indiana Junior High School after a handwritten threat was found on school property.
The call came just before 3 PM after school staff members were alerted to the note. Police do not say where the note was found or by whom, and they do not detail the nature of the threat. Borough police officers and school officials were joined later by state troopers in their investigation. They did not find any further suspicious activity.
The investigation is continuing, and school will go on today with no restrictions. The school district has not commented publicly.
