In Indiana County Court today, one defendant is scheduled for Plea Court appearances in five separate cases and another will be sentenced for a guilty plea in another case.
29-year-old Benjamin Joel Mains of Homer City is scheduled for Plea Court to answer charges in five separate cases. He’s accused of possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance in one case from March of 2017; of theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and harassment in July of last year; of burglary and criminal trespass in a case from last August; of receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle in November of last year; and of theft and receiving stolen property, also last November.
30-year-old Lindsay May Rowley of Penn Run will be sentenced for theft in a case from April of 2017. She will not be prosecuted for additional charges of theft by extortion by exposing secrets and receiving stolen property. Rowley is also awaiting court action on a drug case in Allegheny County, where she and two other Indiana County residents, along with a woman from Punxsutawney, are charged with possession of heroin.
