State police are investigating two thefts at neighboring stores on separate days. The first incident occurred Wednesday evening at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store on Ben Franklin Road South in White Township, where an unknown male suspect stole a bottle of Skyy Vodka. The suspect is white and was wearing blue jeans, a white zip-up sweatshirt with blue sleeves, and a black backpack.
The second incident happened at 9:32 last night. Police say two suspects, a 47-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both from Indiana, stole food items from the Giant Eagle store. They were caught and charged with retail theft. Police have not released their names.
State police are also investigating the theft of a woman’s purse from the Perkins Restaurant, along Oakland Avenue in White Township. The victim is a 78-year-old woman from Indiana. The brown-colored purse had her driver’s license inside, along with fifteen dollars. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 357-1960.
A Blairsville woman is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after being pulled over for a traffic violation on April 27th on South Walnut Street in Blairsville. Police say the suspect is 38-year-old Keri Myers. They do not say what paraphernalia she had.
