Problems with dogs on the loose were the main topic of discussion at last night’s Clymer Borough Council meeting.
Several local citizens came forward with complaints about dogs that have been going into the neighbor’s yard, and leaving behind their waste. One set of neighbors went as far as to install security cameras to catch the animals in the act. Louis Tate, Clymer borough council president, said that they will definitely enforce the leash laws that are in effect state wide.

In other business, the council approved employee raises, retroactive to February 1st of this year, that had been discussed as part of a borough council executive session last month.
