IUP’s council of Trustees approved another revision to the fee changes that were put forward after other fee changes were approved at their prior meeting.
The fee changes have to do with changing a room rate for the Punxsutawney Living Center, and adding an ROTC Meal Plan rate, and four Prior Learning Assessment program fees. Speaking of finances, IUP President Michael Driscoll talked about the state system recently approving a new tuition plan to allow each school in the state system to personalize their tuition plans. We asked Driscoll what IUP would be considering for their own tuition plan.

In other business, the council of trustees honored the recent contributions of the Mackey family by naming the financial trading room at the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology in honor of the Mackey Family Charitable Trust. The board also honored the now-retired Dean of the college of Fine Arts Michael Hood by re-naming the dean’s suite in his honor.
