Jean D. Peightal, 84, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at St. Andrews Village.
Daughter of the late Francis Roy and Nettie Bell Bush Peightal, she was born November 15, 1934, in Indiana.
Ms. Peightal lived all her life in the Indiana area where she was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Jean worked at the Brookville Glove Manufacturing Company and did private cleaning for many homes and office buildings in the Indiana area. She also enjoyed needle work and cross Stitching and helping to take care of her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is survived by one sister Zomenia E. Peightal of Indiana and two sister-in-law’s Louella Peightal of Indiana and Mary Lou Peightal of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: James Peightal, Aloyius Peightal, Francis Peightal, Virgil Peightal and two sisters Floy Mae Renz and Mary E. Peightal.
Friends will be received from 5-8p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
