The average price of a gallon of gas across the state may be going down, but in the Indiana County area, prices are going up.
Gasbuddy.com reports that the average cost of a gallon of regular, unleaded gas is $3.11, which represents an increase of about eight cents over last week’s gas price average. While it is not the highest among our neighbors, it is not the lowest either. Among the neighboring counties, Jefferson County reports an average gas price of $2.92 a gallon. Clearfield county checked in with $3.02 a gallon. Cambria county has a $3.09 average, and Armstrong had $3.12 gallon on average.
The state-wide average in Pennsylvania is $3.04 a gallon. That represents a dip of nearly two cents a gallon from last week at this time, but a 15-cent hike from last month.
