Another theft from a car has been reported in Indiana County, this time in the Blairsville area. State police report that someone got into the unlocked car of a 33-year-old woman from Indiana who has not been identified by police, and took a black Michael Kors wallet containing bank cards valued at $82. No information is available yet on who might have taken the wallet. If you have any information, call police at 724-357-1960.
A Lancaster woman is charged with under-ringing items at the White Township Walmart. State police say that on February 28th, Radha Uprety-Sharma of Lancaster under-rang some toilet paper, mints, cucumber and makeup, all valued around $27. A non-traffic citation was filed through district Judge Susanne Steffee.
Indiana Borough police have charged an Indiana woman with public drunkenness after an incident on April 20th. Poilice say that they were initially called out for a disturbance in the 300 block of North 6th Street. When police got there, they found 47-year-old Tonia Yeager of Indiana, took her into custody and charged her with public drunkenness and released to a sober person.
