A Shelocta woman was injured on Monday in an accident on Route 210 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County.
State police say 34-year-old Amanda Gearhart tried to make a left turn across 210 onto Racetrack Road, but turned in front of a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old boy from Avonmore, whose name was not released. The front of the teen’s vehicle hit the back end of Gearhart’s car, causing it to spin out.
Citizens Ambulance personnel treated Gearhart for a small cut on her forehead. Neither the teen driver not a 14-year-old girl traveling with him were injured.
