INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana borough police are still investigating two crashes that happened on Wednesday.
The first one was at 11:21 AM in the 200 block of Philadelphia Street. Police responded to and investigated the crash at the intersection of Philadelphia and 2nd Street. Two vehicles were involved in the crash and both vehicles had to be towed. Both drivers were taken to IRMC for treatment of injuries. The drivers were not identified in the news release.
Few details are available on another crash that happened, this time in the 1000 block of Wayne Avenue. Indiana Borough Police were called out at 2:07 pm for a motor vehicle accident. Police once again say that two vehicles were involved in the crash. One car had to be towed, and one driver was taken to IRMC for treatment.

State police are looking for the public to help them with a tool theft that happened in Young Township in mid-April.
Troopers say that the theft happened at the Ridge Limestone Quarry on Coleman Road. An unknown thief or thieves were able to break into the site and steal a Pittsburgh ¾ inch socket set, 15-20 solid copper spools ranging in size from 3/8ths to 3/4ths of an inch, a 100-foot spool of stainless wire, ½ inch welding leads and a Mig Lincoln 110 Welder, red in white in color.
