BURRELL TOWNSHIP PLAYGROUND INCIDENT
State police say a young boy poked a girl with a small knife last week at a playground along Walnut Street in Burrell Township. It happened April 24th when the two had an altercation. The boy used a small Swiss Army-style knife to poke the girl’s left thigh. Because of he is under the age of culpability, police say he cannot be charged.
PINE TOWNSHIP CRASH
A Homer City man was injured last evening in a single-vehicle crash on Route 422 near Route 403 in Pine Township. Police say 70-year-old James Henry’s SUV abruptly left the roadway, traveling into a store’s parking lot and striking a front pillar and some chairs at the building. The severity of Henry’s injuries was not known at the time of the crash. He was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
INDIANA BOROUGH COLLISION
Indiana Borough Police say no one was injured in a minor collision at the intersection of South 6th and Church Streets on Tuesday afternoon. A driver attempted to cross over 6th from Church, but collided with an oncoming vehicle. Neither driver has been publicly identified.
