State Police are investigating a case of assault that happened on Sunday in Pine Township. The two people were not identified by police, but police say that the investigation after a 49-year-old man stabbed his lover, a 49-year-old woman, and then himself at a home along Route 422 in Pine Township. The injuries were determined non-life threatening and the two were taken to separate hospitals for treatment. Charges are expected to be filed with District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
State Police say they are investigating a scrap metal theft at a rental property in Northern Indiana County. State Police say sometime between April 15th and and April 23rd, someone took miscellaneous scrap metal from outside the rental property of Vernon Blystone, 74 of Creekside. The thief or thieves fled the scene undetected.

Indiana Borough Police say that a man was injured in an assault that happened earlier this morning. Police say that the man was assaulted by two other men, who were not identified in the police report. The victim was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment. Few other details have been provided.
