It’s hard to believe, but the last full week of classes for the spring semester begins today at IUP. Classes end next Monday and Finals begin next Tuesday, with commencement scheduled for masters and doctoral students on Friday, May 10th, and for bachelors and associate degree candidates on Saturday the 11th.
IUP has announced its student commencement speakers. Indiana native Rachel Schiera will speak at the grad student graduation on Friday the 10th at Fisher Auditorium. She will be receiving her doctorate in education.
Tegan Kreibel, an education, family, and consumer sciences major from Punxsutawney, will speak at the morning commencement on Saturday for undergrads in the Natural Sciences & Mathematics and Health & Human Services programs. Stephanie Raby-Reeger, an anthropology major from Black Lick, will speak at the afternoon commencement for the colleges of Education & Communications, Fine Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Eberly College of Business & Information Technology.
