Indiana County fire companies had an extremely busy Saturday, and there have already been calls this morning.
The dispatches began with a summons for Black Lick, Blairsville, and Coral firefighters to assist EMS personnel at a location along Campbells Mill Road in Burrell Township shortly after 9:30 AM. About three hours later, Armagh firefighters were called to a tree and wires down along Wehrum Road in East Wheatfield Townhip. Shortly after that, Aultman was called to an accident on Route 286 in Center Township, with Homer City joining them.
Indiana companies One and Two were sent to a structure fire on Green Valley Drive. Saltsburg and Tunnelton were dispatched shortly after 4 o’clock to a structure fire along Moween Road in Westmoreland County. Indiana firefighters from companies 3 and 4 and Homer City were dispatched to an automatic alarm on South Ben Franklin Road at 9:42 PM. Tunnelton was sent for a tree on utility lines along Tunnelton Road in Conemaugh Township.
Early this morning, Plumville firefighters were sent to a vehicle fire in Armstrong County, and Black Lick and Blairsville were summoned for a vehicle fire along Route 22 West in Burrell Township
