State police are investigating a theft that happened in Lucernemines between April 18th and the 24th. Troopers say that between those two days, someone got into the unlocked vehicle of a 45-year-old man that was parked on 4th Street and took a Glock 23 .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol from the vehicle, and he fled in an unknown direction. State police believe a 49-year-old Blairsville man is a person if interest in a DUI case on Tuesday. Police say that the suspect, the 49-year-old Blairsville man, was found to be under the influence of alcohol while driving a car. The suspect was taken into custody and a blood draw was taken. Charges at this point are pending.
