There are four defendants scheduled for Plea Court on the schedule for Indiana County Court today, including one who has three cases pending.
One of the cases against 40-year-old Jeremy Michael Clawson of Ernest involves possession of materials that could be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. That was in May of last year. Clawson is also charged with risking a catastrophe, recklessly endangering another person, and multiple other offenses in a meth lab case from January of this year, and in another case from the same day, with meth lab offenses including manufacturing the drug with his child present.
Other defendants scheduled for Plea Court today include:
- 30-year-old Zackery Bright of Home, who is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without proper inspection and insurance. UPDATE: Judge William Martin revoked the probation of Zackery Bright and sentenced him to concurrent prison terms of 4 to 12 months in the Indiana County Jail on convictions for harassment and disorderly conduct. Bright pleaded guilty this morning to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to a year on probation, to run after he is released from jail.
- Joshua Adam Gates of Farmersville, Lancaster County, will plead to charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance. UPDATE: Joshua Gates pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession and was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in the Indiana County Jail.
- 45-year-old Carl Lewis Michaels of Twin Rocks, Cambria County, who is charged with retail theft. UPDATE: Carl Michaels pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to two years on probation, plus fines and court costs.
Today’s court schedule also includes two probation revocation hearings for Zackery Bright.
