State System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Greenstein will visit IUP again on Tuesday afternoon, and he’s now announced that he will be visiting all of the state-owned universities in what he calls a “sequel” to his original tour of the schools last fall.
Greenstein says the tour last fall helped him formulate his vision for a “sharing system”, which would serve as the framework for the System Redesign. The spring tour will “explore that vision” to “position (the) universities not only to survive but to thrive in the 21st century.” He also writes in his latest blog that he wants to “dive deeper into our culture and seek to better understand how we can strengthen it.”
Greenstein writes that he is approaching the end of his “freshman year as chancellor”. He will be at the HUB Susquehanna Room from 4 to 5:30 PM on Tuesday, in an open forum with IUP President Michael Driscoll.
